“ Bright and lively, love the sunflower theme, the owners/staff are so sweet, and the food is super fresh and homemade and nourishing. So far my favorite things have been borscht, salmon toast, and cabbage rolls. I admit this is my jam because I really like Slavic food, but even if you aren't predisposed to loving it, you will! I also wish I had visited this cafe a year ago. So if you are getting groceries at Winco, don't skip Sunflower Cafe! Now I will stop in as much as I can because it makes my day so much better. ”

“ My husband and I were looking for a new place to go to for breakfast or brunch and came across Sunflower on Google and went to check it out. When I arrived and looked at the menu I noticed lots of Russian dishes on there so I asked if it was a Russian establishment. She smiled and said it was sorta Russian but more Ukranian. That made me happy since I’m European and have lots of Russian/Ukranian friends and love their food. We didn’t order any of those dishes though, not this time, but we’ll be back. We ordered some macchiato coffees and a breakfast croissant. The coffees came in a beautiful large ceramic cup, they were MASSIVE, I couldn’t finish mine. The croissants were very fresh and delicious. The chicken on them was really good. The place was packed but peaceful, no screaming kids running around, everyone minding their own business. The tables are really close together and hopefully when it gets warmer outside with can enjoy their outside patio. It was a nice experience and we will be back. ”

“ The Sunflower Bakery and Cafe is a wonderful place to go enjoy some amazing food. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, added to by the brightness of all the sunflowers. There are many pastries, scones and other sweet treats to choose from in the glass case. In addition to this the menu has many good options for lunch. The staff is so friendly, and patient even if it takes a few moments to choose something. The chocolate eclair is one of the best eclairs I have ever had! I definitely recommend this place! ”

“ We searched for avocado toast and found this place. Cute local place, has outside seating as well. We ordered the avocado toast and the chicken bacon toast. Both were good however we preferred the avocado toast. It just had a light fresh taste. The other was more of a heavier meal. Definitely will go back. ”

The workers were kind and helpful not pushing us to order and letting us take our time to choose. My sister and I split the breakfast croissant and mocha it was delicious. Everything was so beautifully presented, we were in awe before we even started eating — and then it just kept getting better. The place is sparkling clean and filled with cozy charm. But what makes it unforgettable is the people. The staff were unbelievably kind, warm, and truly attentive. You feel seen, welcomed, and cared for. We brought flowers for our friend’s birthday — didn’t say a word to anyone — and they noticed, brought a vase without us asking, and later surprised us with a sweet dessert and a heartfelt “Happy Birthday” sung by the servers. We were floored. It felt like a warm hug for the whole table. This place isn’t just a cafe — it’s a celebration of joy, flavor, and kindness. Can’t wait to come back. Again. And again. And again. ”

“ My friend and I had a wonderful time at this cozy cafe serving Russian cuisine. The atmosphere was warm and homely, and the bright sunflowers in the interior added a cheerful touch. We ordered stuffed cabbage rolls — they were absolutely delicious: juicy, flavorful, and tasted just like homemade.
